Nice to see the Hagerstown Suns (Class A affiliate of the Nationals) gave away these bobbleheads on August 17th. The smiley face is a nice touch.

Pickup - FF tri-color Double Die w/ Dots
Picked up this beauty a few weeks ago. FF card with a nice 'tri-color' double die and a unique pattern of print dots on the back. Cheap fun!

Recent Pickups
Found a couple nice FF sawcut cards with similar 'slanted' cuts. I've seen a few of these - all with the same length. Unfortunately, I traded away a matching cut that went through the bat knob many years ago. Exactly in between these 2 cuts - RATS.

Aug. '18 Card of the Month - Black Box (rounded left side w/ Straight white line)
August '18 Card of the Month - Black Box (rounded left side w/ Straight white line)
Similar to May's card of the month - this Black Box version features the Rounded upper left corner of the box. What makes it different is the straight (not jagged) upper left vertical white line. These Black Box cards were produced in bulk as a way to catch up and replace the FF cards that were removed earlier. In fact, they had their own dedicated 132 card sheets at the factory.

July '18 Card of the Month - Scribble w/ Loop
July 2018 Card of the Month - Black Scribble with 'Loop' or Partial F.
Of the 3 basic black scribble variations - I'd consider this the #2 on the list. A mild correction to the first basic black scribble that included the first large letter F. It appears to be an attempt to somewhat hide the F. What is left is a partial F or a 'Loop' pattern. I've attached a combined GIF file (3.5 MB) showing the transformation of a 3 of these 'basic' black scribble versions.

June '18 Card of the Month - White Scribble
June 2018 Card of the Month - The White Scribble (aka white airbrushed).
Beckett lists it as the #616C. This was an early correction to the FF error. Fleer used a light color to hide the original FF. Not a very good job. Many people consider this card the real 'Whiteout' version. PSA once listed these in the same group as other 'Whiteout' cards - "Whited out Vulgarity". A few years ago, they added the label 'Scribbled out in White' to this version.
